Waters Alliance Systems (2690/2695/e2695)

Waters 2690 High-Performance Liquid Chromatography ( HPLC ) Instrument

Waters 2690

First released in 1996, the Waters Alliance system streamlined the use of HPLC by integrating sample management and pump components in a single unit. This system was designed with pharmaceutical labs in mind, aiming to increase the reliability of analysis results, providing excellent reproducibility and low carryover. Although these instruments are less common today, they remain reliable, and we fully support them. Consequently, they are a great option for budget-sensitive labs.

Waters 2695

The Waters 2695 is an update to Waters’ best-selling HPLC system, the Waters 2690. The 2695 offers many improvements over the previous 2690, such as a new style degasser and minor improvements to the solvent delivery and sample management components. The most popular configurations include the optional sample chiller which is ideal if your samples are prone to temperature-related degradation. This instrument interfaces using IEEE for communication.

Waters e2695

The Waters e2695 is an updated version of the Waters 2695. The e2695 offers identical performance to its predecessor 2690/2695, so methods are easily transferred from the earlier generation models. The e2695 includes the built-in ability to interface with LAN communication which is not a feature included in 2690/2695 systems that use IEEE. The system interfaces with Waters’ family of detectors including PDA (2996/2998), TUV (2489), RI (2414), and Fluorescence FLD (2475) models.
